DOCTORS the word!

MAYA SAROYA, AMANDA HADINGUE, STEPHEN HENRY  and JANET WALKER will all be guest roles in DOCTORS on BBC One this May.

Maya is Ramita Uddin, a sharp and feisty individual. She’s set up a pop-up head massage shop, with the ulterior motive of her partner cloning credit cards while she does the massage. She’ll never steal from women, but feels that men are fare game after she was forced to work for a time as a lap dancer.

Amanda is Molly Nilson, she suffers from panic attacks and agoraphobia and has shut herself away for the last 3 years. She was the victim of rape after her daughter Lottie was born, and is left mentally scarred, tense and anxious

Stephen is Dr Ramakrishnan, an incredibly accomplished, intelligent and patient Neurology Consultant. His medical care goes far beyond diagnosis and prescription He understands people.

Janet is Sue Binsey, a small voice of calm in a frequently deranged world. She’s spent much of her life looking after damaged, volatile people: her mother, who had MS and an anger management problem, her dad, who had Parkinson’s and a drink problem, and now Sue is hopelessly devoted to Adam Smith, her kind-hearted fiancé.
